Today, we all played hooky! My children and I took a “ski school day” applicably named by my oldest. Four feet of fresh snow, clear skis, temps in the 50’s, it was a perfect day for cross country skiing. I love cross country skiing for the high calorie burning opportunity, along with the being out in nature, having fun with my family, etc…Not sure, but, I think the kids had more fun “sledding on their butts” down the podium hill than actually skiing!Note to self: healthy snacks for the family
